Konstantin Schimanowski is a rising beauty in the noise of a contemporary music landscape that is by now mostly shaped by algorithmic monotony. He is a re-immigrated German of Black Sea German descent. He is also a Cossack, a Ukrainian and a Russian – a colorful cultural kaleidoscope of origins.
He is an art-pop musician and publishes music in English and in Russian.
The songs feel like poetic journeys. They are ethereal but mix with crisp wavy beats, familiar and warm but also distant and endless. Schimanowskis voice is gliding through this dreamlike scenery with powerful suspense – confidently flocculating into a vast glowing night sky.
